I’m so excited about this! I say that all the time regarding new book announcements, but honestly? This year, I’ve worked on projects I sincerely loved working on and that made me want to sit in front of my computer to complete We started 2023 with book five in the Love is Cure, Vol. 1 – Vices & Virtues series, Gluttony, returned with an enemies-to-lovers story When Luke Met Juliette in the spring and then recently a vacation novel When Life Gives You Sunsets near the tail end of Summer, and in October, I’m scheduled to release my fourth and final book release of 2023. And it’s a collaboration with ShanicexLola!

Titled In Love, I Trust, this novella follows Trevon “Trey” Everest and Serenity Payne, characters who originally appeared in my spring release When Luke Met Juliette. You may remember Trey as the friend who talked MMC Luke Lockett into letting his guard down with FMC Juliette Hart so that the two could tailor their happily ever after. Trey would know a thing or two about talking people into letting their guards down since he did something similar two years prior when he met his then love interest Serenity Payne. 

And we get to see how that all unfolded.

After I released When Luke Met Juliette, some of my readers wondered if Trey would get his own story. And that brought me joy because I knew he would get his own story the moment I added him to the story as Luke’s voice of reason. 

If you fell in love with Trey in When Luke Met Juliette, you’re going to fall head over heels in love with him in In Love, I Trust. The transparency, the vulnerability. That seems to be the trend with my guys this year and I love it here! It’s Serenity I’m going to have to ask you for patience with because our girl does NOT make it easy for Trey to enter her world. But their journey gives us a lovely read.

And by city romance, I mean my new favorite fictional city. When author ShanicexLola reached out to me to collaborate on a project together, I couldn’t wait to get started. She is a dope author who writes romance beautifully, so when she said the plan was to create characters who will live, love, and thrive in a fictional city in New York, you already know I was hype! 

The city is called Rose Hill, and it’s a small city in New York. The culture is inviting, the residents vibrant, and the city will now and forever be known to me as a place where love blooms. And gosh love literally blooms between Trey and Serenity with time and patience.
