Character Q&A: Jeremiah Rhames

It’s a typical busy day at the Buy The Block Back (BTBB) headquarters in the heart of Brownsville, Brooklyn. The offices are abuzz with activity—workshops in session, a couple of community meetings taking place, and the scent of fresh coffee permeates the air. Jeremiah Rhames, the man behind the BTBB initiative, sits at his desk in his personal office. The room is modest but comfortable, filled with workbooks, photos of the neighborhood, and his framed vision for the future. 

“A lot has happened since Loveless,” he commented as he leaned back in his chair. “A lot of good.”

And I couldn’t wait to explore all that good with one of my favorite MMCs.
