And I’m back! Because I love this trip down memory lane series way too much to stop now. Plus, it’s like I said, I have tons of scenes that are my favorites and that I would love to relive with you.
Today, we’re stepping into my Mr & Mrs Jones book world with one of my favorite couples, Mel & A.J.
I have made it no secret how much I love these two. Melodee Delon and Amir Jones were two characters who found me. While I’ve developed stories and characters before these two and have fallen in love with them as well, with these two, their energy was so palpable, I could feel the warmth of it as just an idea. And the more I developed their characters and their story, the more I became hooked on their journey to love.
The first book in the Lovers and Friends series, Girl Code, has an anniversary tomorrow 12/22, so this return to one of my favorite scenes in the sequel to Girl Code, Mr & Mrs Jones, is right on time.
This scene happens near the beginning of the story when Mel and A.J. are back in New York after their honeymoon and she runs into her ex. The rest is gold.
