Serenity Payne is a character I admire. She’s been driven from the time she was a little girl, and the moment she had the chance to create a life she’d love, she seized it. However, Serenity has also lived much of her life in fear and self-protection—constantly on guard, not wanting to experience the same heartaches she saw the women around her endure, particularly in love.
Serenity took living vicariously pessimistically, and for understandable reasons. Let’s get to know the FMC of a story that, if it hadn’t existed, we might never have gotten From Friends to Forever.
