A short snippet from my upcoming release…

My first release of 2019 will be a re-release of a short story that appeared in the Valentine’s Day anthology, Love is Color. This is one of my favorite short stories because I was able to weave one of my favorite places in Brooklyn into the storyline… Coney Island.
If you would have told me years ago I would self-publish more than a short story, I’d press the back of my hand to your forehead to check your temperature. Now here we are, my 16th self-published story that has moved from my mind, to my computer, to your Kindle! Creative writing has always been my passion and I am so blessed to be able to release yet another story for my reading family.
In 3 weeks, I plan to release my final book of 2018, A Love Deferred! I completed this book earlier this year but because it is the last book of the year, I wanted to make sure it had all the makings of a great read. So I took my sweet time with it and in the process I fell in love with two of the most unique characters you’ll read about this year.
My Process
I completely forgot to post the cover reveal for my next release, A Love Deferred, on my BLOG! What?! *facepalm*
But yes, here it is. The cover for my final release of 2018, a novella, which is also a continuation of my holiday short story, Unsilent Knight.
I’ve never done an introductory post. You know the kind, telling you all the random things about me that gives you a general picture of the person behind the words. So since I’m late with that, I’ve compiled a list of facts… 33 to be exact. Why 33? Today is my birthday, my 33rd birthday. I have this thing about numbers and 33 is very significant to me for reasons that would take several posts to explain. The short version is that 33 is like a mirror reflection of numbers so something tells me this year will take me deeper into self-reflecting on the inner me. I’ve been doing a lot of that from the start of 2018.
For this post though, I’m telling you all the things I believe you’d like to know or find even a tad bit interesting lol. Starting with…
IT’S HERE!!! They Call Me Mello’s release day! I’m so excited to release the spin-off to a series that started it all for me and with a character I adore. I look forward to hearing your feedback so please be sure to leave a review after reading.
Enjoy!
SYNOPSIS:
Can you believe They Call Me Mello drops next week Wednesday?? Wait, have you pre-ordered yet? You should! You’ll get the book auto-delivered to your kindle or kindle app at the stroke of midnight.
Anyway, here are the first teasers for the novel. I wanted to give you an introduction to Rayelle and a reintroduction to Romello… since I love them so much. Individually they are unique, together they are two of a kind.
They Call Me Mello will be my second self-published novel and my 15th self-published story!! What started off as me not knowing anything about self-publishing evolved into a journey in understanding the process which has resulted in a catalogue of stories I love and am very proud to offer to readers. For Mello’s story, I wanted to think outside of the box. I love the genre of romance, urban and erotic romance, so I wanted to stay in that lane but veer off a little, and I did that while writing They Call Me Mello.
