#7DaysofBookBaes is a blog event spotlighting my favorite book baes from my books in anticipation of Valentine’s Day. This is Day 4 of #7DaysofBookBaes and today we are spotlighting August Hall.

August’s love is patient.

August is one of my absolute favorite book baes. I adore him so much I can’t wait to write about him and Genesis again. I may even add a glimpse of them to BK Book Lounge to suffice for now.

This man has been through it. His best friend did him wrong. His wife was dishonest. And he lost them both on the same day. So did his good friend Genesis. 

Through heartbreak, he and Genesis find something special in each other. But Genesis is not so quick to warm to the change in their friendship. And August doesn’t rush her. He waits. Although this is the ultimate show of patience, it isn’t the only way August showed his patience.
