August ’26 The Ready Before You Knew

I’m convinced that every story has a season.

Some of those stories arrive exactly when we expect them while others prepare us for something we don’t yet know we need.

That was the thought that kept finding me as I looked across my catalog this month, wanting to talk about them differently.

I’ve spent eleven years writing love stories, and if there’s one thing they’ve taught me, it’s that the best stories don’t simply entertain us. They meet us where we are, remind us of what we’re capable of, and sometimes prepare our hearts for the next chapter of our own lives before we even realize it’s coming.

Lately, I’ve wanted to talk about my books… differently.

Not because I love writing them any less, but because I love talking about them in ways that feel more like me.

If you’ve been around for a while, you’ve probably noticed that I love connecting stories, highlighting themes, and finding the commonality in my characters. It’s one of my favorite things to do in Brookelynite Daily, and I found myself wishing I could bring that same experience into other places too.

So… welcome to my editorial era. ☺️

Each month, I’ll be curating an issue centered on one idea. There will be a cover story, a monthly shelf, character files, story keepsakes, emotional truths, and a few other views along the way. I hope these conversations invite you a little deeper into my stories while helping you discover books across my catalog that you may not have picked up otherwise.

For August ’26, everything begins with one question… What if life had been preparing you long before you realized you were ready?

It’s a question that sits at the heart of Polarity, my upcoming story releasing this November. But it’s also a common theme I found in several other stories I’ve written over the years.

You’ll see those stories throughout the month on my socials and newsletters.

Some will remind us that endings can become beginnings.

Others will explore unexpected love, healing, resilience, and the unexpected ways life prepares us for moments we never see coming.

I’m really looking forward to sharing this first issue with you.
