“Wow,” I exhaled behind him.

He brought me to a rainforest.

A real-life rainforest. I’d only seen them in academic textbooks or on animal documentaries I watched while channel surfing. But pictures failed to compare to the real thing.

It was very green.

Literally, all I saw was various shades of green.

Long stalks of solid bamboo extended high above our heads, reaching for the sky like thin skyscrapers without windows, garnished by greener leaves.

The sounds of natural wildlife and water sloshing against smooth rocks in the distance were like a never-ending soundscape.

We used flat rocks to cross to the other side of the rainforest. Walking through a pond of clear water, I could see straight through. I caught glimpses of colorful fish in a pastel rainbow of colors swimming beneath our sneakers.

Yusuf and I caught one of the resort shuttles and rode the Road to Hana – a 64-mile-long road that extended to Northeast Maui. We rode on that road for a little over thirty minutes to visit a place, more like an oasis, known as Pua’a Ka’a State Wayside.

Yusuf and I passed a few groups of people on our trek through the bright green rainforest, sharing only pleasant greetings with them.

Before we left the resort for the shuttle, I arrived to him in the resort’s lobby, dressed in a Brookville U tee, cut-off jeans and sneakers on my feet; my arms swinging, as instructed for me to do by Yusuf. I would’ve thought to bring my purse to hold my phone, but he insisted not to bother… with the purse. Not my phone.

My phone was in his backpack, a backpack he carried strapped to his back. With no phone screen to occupy my attention, I treated myself to a view I’d never forget.

We’d been walking for ten minutes when he turned to glance at me over his shoulder to inform, “We’re close. Do you hear it?”

“Hear what? Besides all the other magical sounds, giving me an eargasm in this rainforest. Which pause for reaction… I’m in a goddamn rainforest!”

He laughed. “The waterfall.”

“A waterfall? There’s a waterfall here, too?”

“There are several.”

He stopped at an entrance shaded by giant green leaves and pointed. “But this waterfall is the best one.”

Like a painting that came to life is what it was. Or a painting in 4D.

To call the waterfall beautiful would be lazy.

Magical?

Close.

Majestic?

Yes.

Blue, white water seemed to fall from heaven as it cascaded between two hills covered in vegetation. The body of water was too small to be a lake, but way too large to be a pond.

The sounds of water falling into more water was such a soothing sound. I could feel all my stress, any worries, all the negative emotions or feelings in me leaving through my pores the longer I stood at the entrance watching the earth show off.

“Yusuf.” I turned to look at him.

He smiled big. “I know.”

Yusuf gestured through the opening and said, “Let’s go in.”

I blinked hard. “Let’s go in, where?”

He chuckled, stepping over the rocks that blocked the entrance.

“Yusuf,” I stage whispered.

I watched him step through ankle high grass, removing his backpack along the way and dropping it beside his feet.

I folded my lips into my mouth and bit them closed when I wanted to protest. Inhaled an encouraging breath and stepped through the leaves and into the space close behind him.

I stopped beside him and said, “This is beautiful.”

“Seeing it is one thing…” He pulled at the hem of his white tee, lifting the shirt up and over his head. “Feeling it? A whole unique experience.”

My eyes rolled down from his and onto smooth, milky brown skin. Tiny sparse of coily hairs were scattered down the valley of his broad chest. Yusuf was solid, but not a muscle head. Slightly defined muscle covered his arms, chest, and abs, but there was nothing obnoxious about it. A thin line of hairs extended from beneath his navel, pointing the way to the v-line that disappeared into the band of his black basketball shorts.

My eyes lingered on the curve where his crotch was. “I brought nothing to swim in.”

“Neither did I.”

That got my attention and forced me to meet his eyes again. “Then…”

His hands were at the band of those basketball shorts before I could finish my sentence, using his grip to pull the shorts down and off.

My jaw dropped the moment those shorts fell to his ankles. My jaw continued to drop even further. Because of my new view…

Yusuf’s dick.

“Oh my God.”

It was thick. So thick.

Like a bamboo shoot?

That was the first thing I noticed. The next thing I realized was he manscaped around that beautiful thick dick.

“Oh my God,” I repeated.

Sex toy companies would pay dividends to use his dick as a mold for their dildos. I just knew it.

I couldn’t take my eyes off it. Even as the thick muscle swayed between his thighs as he stepped out of his sneakers one at a time. I prayed I wasn’t visibly salivating. Because in my head, I was choking on that thing.

He turned to face the waterfall and approached the pool of water feet away from the grass. I observed the rise and fall of his perfect ass as he walked his way to the edge of that water, balanced himself on the arches of his feet, and used his hind legs as momentum to dive into the water, headfirst.

His disrobing froze me in the spot he left me. He popped up through the water’s surface, swiping water from his face with his palms.

He motioned at me. “Get in here.”

Uhh…”

“Don’t tell me you’re shy, Clarke.” He bobbed up and down in the water and all I could imagine was what his dick looked like in the clear blue water.

Because it looked delicious on land.

“I’m… I’m not shy.” I blinked repeatedly. “I’m shocked.”

“Shocked?”

“I… I just saw your dick!”

END OF SAMPLE.
