Draft Diaries: Entry #13 – Reading Between the Lines
When I officially entered the read-through phase ofĀ Polarity, it felt surreal.
This is the stage where I have a manuscript that contains everything that will, at least that’s the plan, appear in the final version you’ll eventually hold in your hands.
That said, I’ve reached this stage before and still ended up cutting scenes or even entire chapters that no longer felt like they belonged. It’s all part of the process.
But this time around, I’m watchingĀ PolarityĀ transform from a draft into what feels like a finished book, and that feeling is beautifully surreal.
