To say I had a time writing this first season of the three-part series, Seasons of Davenport Ridge, would be an understatement.
I don’t know what it is, but I really love writing sisters in fiction, and these three sisters had me loving it even more.
Picture it. Three sisters take up their grandmother’s offer to move onto an estate in a rural town in New York. It’s also a farm that the sisters have no experience with because they were born and raised in the city and only know city life.
Seasons of Davenport Ridge follows these sisters on this journey of discovery. They each have something they’re looking for in the small farming town of Morgansville, and they will get more than they bargain for.
Season one follows Cori, the middle sister, who’s ready to leave the moment she steps foot at Davenport Ridge. But her curiosity leads her to a farm near hers, where she meets Isaiah, a man who will derail her plans in the best way possible.
Season One is now complete, with Season Two set to begin on Monday.
