This is one of my favorite quotes not only from this story, but my favorite quote ever šŸ™‚ā€ā†•ļø. Have you met Clarke and Yusuf?

He had no clue what to do with the newborn he unexpectedly became a legal guardian to alongside his friend, Ivy Pressman. But eventually, he got to here šŸ„¹. If you read Raising Love, do you remember this moment?
šŸ“‚šŸ“ø Meet Jamar ā€œStoneā€ Cole A man who is no strang šŸ“‚šŸ“ø Meet Jamar ā€œStoneā€ Cole A man who is no stranger to loss or heartbreak. And still, he was unprepared to deal with the loss of his best friend, his foster brother, Isaac Brooks, who he considered to be blood. Jamarā€™s life reads like a series of unfortunate circumstances, and the only value he ever seen in himself has been rooted in being there for the people closest to him. So when he finds himself developing feelings for the one woman who shouldnā€™t even be an option, he, as he puts it, has one foot in heaven and the other in hell. I love developing characters like Jamar. Flawed and unapologetic about it. Beats himself up a little too much and doesnā€™t know love the way heā€™ll come to know it in Polarity. I feel like itā€™s been a while since Iā€™ve had a character like Jamar. And I canā€™t wait for you to meet him.

Nothing is ever random in my story world and the s Nothing is ever random in my story world and the same could be said about Polarityā€™s storyboard šŸ˜Œ. When I put this together, I wanted it to feel like displaced moments from Amarah and Jamarā€™s story before you know enough to put them together. Some things probably make sense while others probably leave you with questions. But every Polaroid represents either a detail youā€™ll get to know intimately or an unforgettable moment that shifts the story. And it will become clear once Polarity is in your hands šŸ„¹. Are you catching the vibe of Polarity yet based on its story board?
šŸ“øšŸ“‚Meet Amarah Brooksā€¦ A woman who believes she is šŸ“øšŸ“‚Meet Amarah Brooksā€¦ A woman who believes she isnā€™t prepared for the shift that changes her life. But she doesnā€™t realize that life has been building something in her long before she knows sheā€™ll need it. Whenever I develop a character, I always start with their personality and their energy before giving them a name or backstory. But it isnā€™t only about who the character is and their likes and dislikes. For me, itā€™s about what kind of character the plot requires. What will they need to do? How will they need to grow? Who will they need to become to end their story better than they started? Amarah is a perfect example of this for me šŸ„¹. Many of the moments in Polarity asks her to confront a life she never imagined for herself, while slowly learning things about the woman she already was before everything changed around her. Sheā€™s teaching me things šŸ™‚ā€ā†•ļø and I canā€™t wait for you to meet her in Polarity šŸ’™.

The eldest sister Noelle is up, and sheā€™s not playing fair anymore with hubby Tyson. Season Two of Seasons of Davenport Ridge has begun! Brrr šŸ¤­. Side note: Bring back talking on these songs.
