When I tell you this wedding lived in my head rent-free the moment I finished writing Amir’s proposal on the red carpet in Girl Code, please know I’m being completely honest. I loved these two from their story’s outline. I can think of only a handful of couples who felt so real to me on the page that sitting down to write their story felt like catching up with old friends. So penning Amir and Melodee’s wedding was a treat, and it deserved the full chapter it took up. And it all went down at the Gold Coast Castle.
