Archetype Deep Dive: Asher Truesdale

Asher Truesdale is an MMC who made his way to the top of my favorites list from the moment I outlined his backstory. He was such a fascinating character to me, with a heart that felt so pure and perfectly suited for his love interest, Lauryn James. Asher was exactly what Lauryn needed, but he was also exactly what we needed to see in an MMC independent of her.

Asher is bold, but subtle with that boldness. He doesn’t judge books by their covers. Instead, he becomes intrigued and wants to learn more about what’s inside. He’s unassuming on the surface and an entire adventure once you get beyond what he presents to the world.

Asher loves deeply and possesses a patience that is admirable and holy. He’s strong physically, but he’s even stronger emotionally, which is one of his most endearing qualities.
