Much like Jaide Belair’s character, Lucas “Lucky” Cassidy was also an amalgamation of magnetic reality show stars and male singers I’ve admired over the years. He’s mysterious, talented, and holds so much to himself, yet he isn’t the hardened man his experiences could have shaped him into being. Lucky is likable, layered, and compelling—an MMC who truly earns the happily ever after he gets. He’s one of my favorite male characters I’ve developed, maybe even the quintessential one. Flawed but still soft for the person he feels most comfortable with. There’s so much to him beyond what One Mic revealed.
So let’s get to know Lucky a little more intimately.
