In Love, I Trust Chapter 6: “He was here!”
In Love, I Trust is one of my few stories set outside of the five boroughs of New York City. When my writing partner for this series, ShanicexLola, pitched the idea of writing a small-town-ish romance, I jumped at the chance. I’d been wanting to explore a story in a quieter city setting for a while, and I knew exactly which characters I wanted to bring to life for it.
Trey and Serenity had been sitting in my story folder for some time, waiting on the right moment. This was it. And the chapter I couldn’t wait to write? The one where they meet in person for the first time. Because in that moment, everything changes. That first meeting? It tells them everything they need to know: they’re falling… and they’re falling hard.
