We’re sitting at a peaceful park in Greene Gardens, a new and emerging village in upstate New York. The park is a serene haven, with lush greenery and vibrant flowers blooming in the warmer months. A beautiful water fountain trickles gently in the background, surrounded by smooth stones and shaded benches. Residents enjoy the warm weather, with families strolling leisurely, couples on picnics, and children laughing as they run around. Baby Love (who Ivy and I agreed to refer to him as for readers who have yet read their story) sits in his stroller, content and quiet, distracted by the bustling park around him, his bright eyes taking in everything with wonder. Ivy smiles softly at him, her heart clearly full.
“He loves being outside,” Ivy says with a fond smile. “Just like Leo. Whenever Leo’s home, these two are out and about in Greene Gardens. They are the perfect duo.”
