We’re sitting outside one of the newest additions to Greene Gardens, a quaint café with a cheerful charm. Its exterior is painted a soft mint green with large glass windows that let in the morning sun, and inside, polished wooden tables and mismatched chairs give it a cozy, inviting feel. We’ve agreed to refer to the baby by his nickname for readers who haven’t read their story yet.
“It’s just us guys today,” Leo says, tugging Baby Love’s tiny sneaker, which matches his own sneaker. “We’re headed to the park after this, then a Smurf movie when we get back home. Jealous, BK?”
We share a laugh before jumping into the questions.
