At the start of Last Comes Love, it almost seemed like Rylee and Lennox would have the hardest time going from just friends to something more. These two had known each other since they were kids and had never crossed that line… at least Rylee hadn’t. Even when Lennox’s date once questioned the nature of their friendship and whether they’d ever been involved, Rylee gagged at the idea.
Lennox, on the other hand, had seen her that way once when they were teenagers, but he let those feelings go, choosing friendship over something he assumed would be fleeting.
